Obviously there are tons of trucks and beat-to-shit old Civics/Corollas/VW’s/etc. But I see a surprising huge number of BRZ’s at job sites too

When I was in sales we had a customer come in and trade in a brand new s60 t6 awd on a Rubicon, he loved the Volvo but was a construction manager and said the guys made fun of him too much. He didn’t even really like the jeep.

Agreed. And it’s not like they’re gonna forget all of a sudden that he bought a Volvo, if anything they’ll just have extra ammo now that he got rid of it just to look cool in front of them. Poor guy probably had to just fire his whole crew and start fresh.

Not only do I drive my Miata out to job sites all the time, but on a few occasions I’ve loaded my survey equipment and stakes into it, driven it to a site, and worked out of it.
